Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on F&B Cost Controller to join our finance team. This role is a critical partner to both finance and operations, responsible for managing food, beverage, and supply costs across multiple restaurant concepts. You'll play a key role in driving profitability, optimizing systems, and delivering actionable insights , with a strong emphasis on MarginEdge platform expertise . Key ResponsibilitiesFood & Beverage Cost Management Monitor and manage food, beverage, and supply costs across all locations Analyze variances between theoretical vs. actual usage and identify root causes Maintain accurate recipe costing, yields, and ingredient pricing Track and drive improvements in prime cost performance Partner with chefs and operators to control portioning, waste, and purchasing Systems & MarginEdge Leadership Serve as the internal expert on MarginEdge Manage invoice automation, recipe builds, inventory setup, and vendor pricing Optimize system workflows for efficiency and reporting accuracy Train managers and chefs on cost controls and system utilization Ensure integration between POS, MarginEdge, and accounting systems Accounts Payable & Vendor Management Oversee full-cycle AP processes, including invoice review and approvals Reconcile invoices to statements and ensure credits are applied Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor payment cycles Identify cost-saving opportunities and purchasing efficiencies Inventory & Operational Analysis Support inventory processes, counts, and variance analysis Identify waste, shrinkage, and inefficiencies Align inventory, purchasing, and recipe costing systems Financial Reporting & Insights Produce reports on COGS, inventory, vendor spend, and margin performance Translate data into actionable insights for leadership Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of restaurant or hospitality finance experience Strong experience with MarginEdge (required) Deep knowledge of food cost, beverage cost, inventory, and prime cost Experience with POS systems (SpotOn, Toast, etc.) Advanced Excel and analytical skills Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Why Join Bluepoint Hospitality Work across a diverse portfolio of award-worthy concepts Be a key contributor to strategic financial and operational decisions Collaborate with experienced hospitality and finance leaders Opportunity to make a measurable impact on business performance
