Company Overview 495movers inc is a dedicated transportation and relocation service provider established in 2009. We serve private clients, businesses, government agencies, military, and large organizations across multiple locations, striving to deliver stress-free moving experiences through high standards and exceptional service from start to finish. Job Overview We are seeking a focused and detail-oriented Storage Manager to serve as the single point of accountability across our four storage facilities. In this role, you will hold ultimate ownership of facility organization, moving supply procurement, and load accuracy for every job. You will ensure that every truck leaves properly stocked, fueled, and matched to its specific move manifest, while serving as the operational link between our warehouses, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities Four-Facility Storage Oversight:
Manage day-to-day organization, space allocation, security, and cleanliness across all four storage locations.
Facility & Storage Software Management:
Utilize our primary storage software to handle day-to-day facility management across all four locations. Execute all digital move-ins, move-outs, unit transfers, and updates to customer account records in real time.
Supply Procurement & Material Control:
Monitor supply levels and directly manage the ordering of all moving materials (boxes, pads, tape, specialty crates, operational supplies). Maintain an accurate, real-time track of all materials coming in and going out for every job.
Move & Dispatch Preparation:
Cross-check job orders to ensure crews load the exact items assigned to the correct destinations. Ensure trucks are fully prepped, loaded with proper materials, and fueled for delivery.
CRM & Inventory Tracking:
Maintain strict digital records in our CRM, updating material usage, job allocation, and storage unit inventories daily.
Cross-Department Coordination:
Communicate efficiently with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to handle schedule adjustments, specific job requests, and client inventory updates.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Proven experience in warehouse management, storage facility oversight, or moving industry logistics.
Detail Orientation:
Uncompromising precision when verifying inventory lists, dispatch manifests, and material counts.
CRM Proficiency:
Experience using CRM systems for inventory tracking and operational workflow.
Communication:
Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills across internal departments.
Preferred Qualifications Bilingual:
Fluency in both English and Spanish (or another second language) is a strong advantage.
Recommended Industry Additions Storage Client Audits & Vault Management:
Responsibility for periodic audits of customer vaults or units to ensure tagged items match database manifests during long-term storage.
Equipment & Asset Maintenance:
Overseeing the regular inspection and maintenance of moving equipment (hand trucks, dollies, ramps, straps) stored across the facilities.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
