Job Description

Spirit Ford, a growing Ford dealership in Dundee, Michigan, is looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Parts Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone who understands dealership parts operations, takes pride in keeping things organized, and can provide excellent service to our technicians, service department, wholesale customers, and retail customers.
What You'll Do:
Assist the Parts Manager with the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department Help manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, and returns Work closely with the Service Department and technicians to ensure parts are available when needed Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and minimizing obsolescence Help coordinate parts orders with Ford and other vendors Monitor special orders and ensure customers and technicians receive timely updates Assist with wholesale and retail parts sales Provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department Assist with pricing, invoicing, warranty parts, cores, and credits Follow dealership policies and Ford procedures Look for ways to improve department efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
Previous automotive dealership parts experience preferred Parts department or automotive service experience strongly preferred Ford experience is a plus, but not required Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working with computers and dealership software Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Positive, professional attitude Dependable and willing to be part of a team Leadership experience or the desire to grow into a management role Why Spirit Ford?
