Are you looking for a challenging career with a growing, global company? Brembo North America, the world's leading performance brake manufacturer is hiring! Brembo is located in Homer, MI and we are looking for an experienced Materials Manager to join our team!
Position Description:
The Materials Manager will administer an effective and efficient material control program to assure the plant output schedules and budgets are met. The Materials Manager is also responsible for the procurement, scheduling, and expediting of all direct purchased parts and materials as well as MRO Stores System and manage a diverse team that proactively works toward increased sales, lower inventory, cost savings, and the most productive machining schedule. Must also have knowledge and application of APQP process for
Brembo Disc Materials Responsibilities:
Establish production schedules. Includes manning, specific production schedules for each line, and scheduling changeovers for each line. Utilize the MRP system to effectively order all raw materials in a manner that meets all customer requirements Develop and achieve inventory management targets Establish and maintain good customer and vendor contacts Monitor all customer websites and retain necessary data to ensure 100% on time delivery ratings Supervise physical inventories Evaluate customer requirements and sales forecasts Evaluate capacity planning, facilities, and availability Supervise and develop personnel within Materials Department. Clearly communicate performance expectations. Work with customers and corporate program managers to ensure accurate delivery of pilot/prototype requirements. Respect the confidentiality of acquired information. Observe Safety and Environmental procedures issued by the Company for individual, collective and environmental protection Respect indication of Manual and Environmental, Safety and Quality procedures for related areas .
Requirements:
5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing environment 5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing environment Lean Manufacturing concepts SAP experience is a plus
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Pay:
From $120,000.00 per hour
