Job Details
IDR is seeking a Service Center Lead (Kitting) to support one of our top clients in Saline, Michigan. This is an onsite role focused on keeping equipment moving accurately and efficiently through the service center—receiving, put-away, picking/kitting, and shipping—while protecting inventory accuracy and improving day-to-day processes.
Position Overview for the Service Center Lead (Kitting):
Lead daily service center activities to meet customer requirements and project timelines
Own end-to-end inventory flow: receive, verify, put away, pick/kitting, stage, and ship equipment
Maintain strong inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and disciplined transaction control
Use the inventory management/WMS tools to ensure clean documentation and system compliance
Coordinate onsite workflow and keep facility operations running smoothly, especially when senior leadership is offsite
Identify opportunities to improve layout, efficiency, safety, and standard work; share recommendations and updates with leadership
Requirements for the Service Center Lead (Kitting):
- 2+ years of inventory control, or logistics operations
- Proven experience in inventory control and service center leadership
- Strong working knowledge of inventory systems, audit requirements, and service center optimization strategies
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with HCAP is a plus
