Position Summary The Director of Supply Chain will lead the company's global sourcing, purchasing, material planning, supplier management, inventory, and shipping and receiving functions. This is an active leadership role requiring strong supplier relationships, cross-functional collaboration, timely decision-making, and regular engagement with domestic and international suppliers. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a supply-chain strategy that supports short manufacturing lead times, dependable on-time delivery, growth, and working-capital objectives. Lead global sourcing, purchasing, material planning, inventory management, inbound logistics, and shipping and receiving. Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop domestic and international suppliers. Build strong supplier relationships through regular communication, business reviews, negotiations, performance improvement, and on-site visits. Develop and maintain supplier scorecards covering quality, delivery, cost, lead time, responsiveness, and corrective-action performance. Proactively identify supply risks, capacity constraints, shortages, and cost pressures, and implement appropriate countermeasures and alternative sources. Lead the development of a complete line of sourced, finished products sold under the company's brand. Lead inventory planning and replenishment processes to ensure material availability while improving inventory turns and reducing excess and obsolete inventory. Provide leadership and accountability for safe, accurate, timely, and efficient shipping and receiving operations. Improve receiving accuracy, material identification, inventory transactions, warehouse flow, packaging, freight cost, carrier performance, and on-time shipment. Lead and develop the supply-chain team by establishing clear priorities, performance expectations, communication routines, and accountability. Work actively across operations, sales, finance, engineering, quality, and systems to solve problems and improve company performance. Bring forward risks, ideas, and recommendations without waiting to be asked. Communicate clearly, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence decisions even without formal authority. Move quickly from analysis to action, using practical first versions and continuous improvement rather than waiting for perfect information or systems. Establish and report meaningful supply-chain performance measures, including supplier delivery and quality, material shortages, inventory performance, freight cost, and shipping accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply-chain management, operations, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Progressive leadership experience in supply chain, sourcing, purchasing, planning, logistics, or manufacturing operations. Demonstrated experience developing suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements, and improving supplier performance. International sourcing experience preferred, including sourcing finished or white-label products. Strong business judgment with an understanding of cost, quality, service, inventory, working capital, and supply risk. Proven ability to lead teams and drive results across organizational boundaries. Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable operating with urgency and making sound decisions without perfect information. Willing and able to travel regularly to domestic and international suppliers. Pay:

$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
