An established and growing powersports dealership in the Jefferson City area is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of its Parts Department. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable managing inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, parts sales, and coordination with the Sales and Service departments.

Responsibilities include:

Manage daily Parts Department operations Assist customers with identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories Use OEM catalogs, diagrams, and electronic parts systems to look up parts Order parts and accessories from manufacturers and vendors Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels Receive, verify, and stock incoming orders Manage special orders, backorders, returns, warranties, and obsolete inventory Maintain an organized parts counter, showroom, and storage area Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure technicians have needed parts Work with the Sales Department on parts and accessories for new and sold units Communicate with customers regarding pricing, availability, and order status Maintain relationships with manufacturers and outside vendors Monitor pricing, margins, inventory levels, and overall department performance Help identify opportunities to increase parts and accessory sales Ensure parts are accurately invoiced and assigned to the appropriate customer or repair order Handle customer questions and concerns professionally Supervise and assist Parts Department employees as needed Maintain accurate records and follow dealership and manufacturer procedures

Qualifications:

Previous parts department experience required Powersports, automotive, marine, equipment, or dealership experience strongly preferred Previous management or supervisory experience preferred Experience with inventory management and parts ordering Ability to navigate OEM parts catalogs and diagrams Comfortable using computerized dealership and inventory systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Dependable, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of the department Valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

This position may require standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving parts and merchandise. Must be able to safely lift approximately 50 lbs. when necessary. This is a full-time opportunity with an established Mid-Missouri dealership.
