Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Transformers Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Manager / Team Leader A Snapshot of Your Day The world of logistics today is characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration across material handling, warehousing, procurement, planning, production, technology, and distribution teams. As a Logistics Team Leader with Siemens Energy, with a focus on material handling, you will help lead safe, efficient, and accurate material flow for the Charlotte Power Transformer plant. In this role, you will coordinate daily warehouse priorities, support and coach material handling team members, resolve operational barriers, and drive consistent execution of receiving, put-away, staging, kitting, inventory control, and internal delivery activities. She/he will demonstrate leadership, problem solving, conflict management, risk management, critical thinking, and a strong commitment to a diverse team with common goals. How You'll Make an Impact Lead warehouse operations by driving safety compliance, daily work organization, and lean material handling practices. Coordinate team priorities and optimize processes to ensure accurate staging, timely material issuance, and efficient flow to production. Oversee receiving, put-away, kitting, staging, inventory transactions, internal deliveries, and warehouse KPI performance. Promote safe operation of material handling and rigging equipment through training, procedure adnce, and equipment iness. Monitor material availability, inventory accuracy, and handling risks while partnering with procurement, planning, production, logistics, and supplier quality teams to resolve issues. Coach and communicate with warehouse staff and cross-functional stakeholders to address material shortages, improve material flow, support production schedules, and ensure delivery iness. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Relocation assistance is not available. What You Bring 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or material handling, with proven success coordinating daily operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring safe, accurate execution. Associate degree preferred, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI. HS Diploma Required Experience utilizing SAP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and supplier portals to support inventory and operational processes. Demonstrated ability to safely operate material handling and rigging equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, and related lifting devices. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, material staging, internal material flow, and performance management. Effective communicator with experience leading material handling activities and collaborating across warehouse, production, procurement, and planning teams to meet production, inventory, and delivery requirements.
