FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\r\n\r\nDevelops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction\r\nExecutes Parts Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals\r\nMaintains an accurate and effective parts inventory control system that includes a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory and proper counter procedures\r\nMaintains and reviews monthly parts reports\r\nAssists with the development and training of Parts Department personnel and completes performance reviews for Parts Department counter salespeople and other Parts staff (including Outside Parts Service & Sales, if applicable)\r\nAssists with counter sales to support customer needs\r\nMaintains all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order\r\nSubmits parts warranty claims and parts return claims to the Central Warranty Administrator within the required time frame to receive maximum credits allowed\r\nPromotes and merchandises parts and accessories, as required for part marketing plan \r\nExecutes annual Parts Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives \r\nPerforms other managerial duties, as required, and location functionality duties, as needed\r\nAlways conducts self so as to be an ambassador of the dealership\r\n\r\n\r\nEXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
\r\n\r\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience\r\n2+ year experience in Parts Department operations\r\nExperience leading others\r\nAbility to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions\r\nAbility to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups\r\nBasic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations\r\nAbility to analyze and interpret internal reports\r\nAbility to work extended hours and weekends\r\nExcellent customer service skills, required\r\nStrong organizational skills and leadership abilities\r\nAbility to operate a forklift, preferred\r\n \r\n\r\n
