In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory control, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and sales teams. Your leadership will drive efficiency in parts sourcing, supplier management, and logistics, contributing to exceptional customer service and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vital component of our dealership's success while fostering a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Manage the entire parts inventory process, including procurement, warehousing, shipping & receiving, and inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and sourcing strategies to ensure competitive advantage. Oversee parts administration activities such as data entry, order management system updates, and parts sourcing to guarantee accuracy and availability. Coordinate logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of parts for automotive service, repairs, or customer orders. Implement and utilize inventory management systems (such as ERP or CMMS) to monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and streamline procurement processes. Ensure compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and safety regulations related to equipment repair and warehouse management. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts management, sourcing, and inventory control systems. Strong supply chain management skills with experience in procurement management, demand planning, and logistics inventory management. Proven supplier management experience with negotiation skills that maximize value while maintaining quality standards. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems, auto body repair, HVAC systems, and equipment repair is highly desirable. Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software (such as Parts Administration tools), Microsoft Office suite for reporting and data entry tasks. Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate with service technicians, sales teams, vendors, and other departments effectively. Customer service orientation combined with analytical skills for demand planning and pricing strategies.
