Glass Warehouse supplies premium shower doors, glass railing systems, medicine cabinets, and mirrors through major retail partners and ecommerce channels. Future Glass supplies shower doors, glass railing systems, hardware, mirrors, medicine cabinets, and architectural glass products to professional trade customers nationwide. With distribution facilities in Oceanside, CA, Dallas, TX, and Wilmington, NC , we continue to expand our product offering, customer base, and operational capabilities. Strong inventory management, demand planning, supplier partnerships, and supply chain execution are critical to supporting our next stage of growth. About the Role This is a senior individual contributor role at the center of our supply chain operations. You will own inventory planning, purchasing, supplier management, and inbound supply chain execution across both Glass Warehouse and Future Glass. The role carries significant responsibility for maintaining product availability, managing inventory investment, supporting cash flow objectives, and improving overall supply chain performance. This position is ideal for a highly analytical and hands-on supply chain professional who enjoys building processes, driving accountability, and creating scalable systems within a growing business. While the role has no direct reports, it carries full accountability for supply chain planning outcomes and serves as a key partner to Operations, Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, suppliers, freight providers, and third-party logistics partners. Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & Inventory Management Own end-to-end inventory planning across all product categories and distribution locations. Convert sales forecasts into purchasing and replenishment plans. Establish and maintain inventory targets, weeks of cover, reorder points, safety stock levels, and planning parameters. Monitor inventory health, including stock availability, stock turns, slow-moving inventory, and obsolete inventory. Conduct inventory analysis to minimize stockouts while optimizing working capital. Review forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning assumptions. Apply ABC/Pareto analysis to prioritize inventory management efforts. Prepare inventory forecasts and stock value projections to support financial planning and budgeting. Purchasing & Supplier Management Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders in line with demand forecasts and inventory budgets. Manage relationships with international suppliers and manufacturers. Review and approve proforma invoices and purchasing documentation. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, production schedules, and delivery commitments. Hold suppliers accountable for on-time and in-full delivery performance. Support commercial negotiations around pricing, payment terms, lead times, and supplier performance improvements. Develop strong supplier partnerships that improve service levels and reduce supply risk. Inbound Logistics & Supply Chain Execution Track open purchase orders and inbound shipments from origin through final warehouse receipt. Maintain accurate ETA visibility and supply chain reporting. Coordinate freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure efficient inbound flow. Manage shipment documentation and customs compliance requirements. Identify and proactively address supply chain risks, delays, and disruptions. Supply Chain Improvement & Systems Development Identify opportunities to improve inventory management, purchasing processes, and supply chain efficiency. Develop and document scalable SOPs and best-practice processes. Support ongoing ERP, WMS, and planning system improvements. Contribute to the development of reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics. Drive process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams. Support cash flow planning, inventory budgeting, and overseas creditor management. Communicate supply risks, stock constraints, and inbound delays proactively. Serve as the primary escalation point for inventory availability and supply chain issues. Ensure inventory and purchasing data supports accurate financial reporting. Systems & Tools Experience with the following systems is highly desirable: Microsoft Business Central (ERP & WMS) Netstock Planning Software Freight Forwarder Portals (Flexport, OEC, etc.) Inventory Planning & Forecasting Tools Advanced Excel / Reporting Tools About You Required Experience 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations. Experience operating at Senior Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Inventory Manager, or Supply Chain Manager (Individual Contributor) level. Experience working with international suppliers and import supply chains. Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, forecasting, landed costs, and inbound logistics. Proven ability to build processes and improve systems within a growing business. Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills. Personal Attributes Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong sense of ownership and accountability. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and changing environment. Hands-on approach with a willingness to execute as well as plan. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Continuous improvement mindset. Preferred Experience Ecommerce, retail, wholesale, building products, or import-focused business experience. Experience with ERP implementations or system transitions. Experience managing high-volume SKU portfolios. Knowledge of inventory optimization and forecasting methodologies.
