Job Description

The Parts Manager is responsible for inventory control, customer service and retail parts sales at Ranchland Ford. In this position, your responsibilities include ordering parts, selling parts and managing the parts inventory as well as providing ancillary support to the Service Department. Parts Manager Compensation and Benefits:

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish Manage inventory, maintain and provide parts for Service Technicians Complete special order part request for over the counter customers Communicate with customers and technicians on parts status Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Monitor parts department profitability and other statistical data Assist the Service Department as needed Must follow all company safety policies and procedures Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
Parts Manager Requirements:
Previous experience at a dealership is a plus Experience with auto parts sales is a plus Ability to identify and act on issues quickly Knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
