This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, managing METRC compliance, receiving product, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring our physical inventory, POS, and state tracking system remain accurate and aligned. We are looking for someone who already understands cannabis retail inventory and can confidently take ownership of the department.

Schedule:

Full-time Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM Responsibilities Manage all retail inventory processes from receiving through final sale Receive and verify incoming cannabis inventory for accuracy Maintain accurate inventory in METRC and the retail POS system Complete required METRC transfers, adjustments, package management, and reconciliations Conduct regular inventory counts and investigate discrepancies Ensure physical inventory matches METRC and POS records Research and resolve inventory variances quickly and accurately Maintain organized backstock and secure inventory storage areas Oversee product labeling, organization, and proper placement Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock, overstock, and aging inventory to management Verify product information, pricing, and inventory quantities are accurate in the POS and online menu Maintain proper documentation for inventory movements, returns, adjustments, and destructions Assist with product recalls, quarantines, and compliance-related inventory issues when necessary Work closely with retail management, purchasing, fulfillment, and compliance teams Ensure all inventory procedures follow company policies and New Jersey cannabis regulations Identify inventory issues and improve processes to prevent recurring discrepancies Qualifications Previous cannabis retail inventory experience required Strong working knowledge of METRC required Experience managing high-volume retail inventory Experience with cannabis POS systems; Flowhub experience is a plus Strong understanding of inventory receiving, reconciliation, transfers, adjustments, and cycle counts Extremely detail-oriented and organized Comfortable investigating discrepancies and identifying their root cause Strong computer and data-entry skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong communication and problem-solving skills What We're Looking For Someone who can take full ownership of retail inventory Someone who is already comfortable working in METRC A person who understands that small inventory mistakes can become major compliance issues Someone who is organized, accurate, and proactive Someone who can identify discrepancies and actually figure out why they happened instead of simply adjusting numbers A dependable person who can keep inventory clean, organized, and accurate every day Benefits Health insurance Employee discount
