In this pivotal role, you will manage the day-to-day operations associated with HazMat Parts Department in compliance with established policies and procedures. Oversee all activities of the parts department including the ordering and maintenance of parts inventory while ensuring orderly and efficient operation of the parts room. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee ordering, shipping and receiving of parts and supplies Manage shop assistant with respect to parts duties Identify opportunities to lower parts expense through effective purchasing and inventory control Utilize Trimble Transman (TMT) to provide parts cost reporting and efficiency metrics Manage supplier relationships Negotiate with vendors and leverage maximum discounts and availability Identify and implement cost saving initiatives Ensure availability of routinely used parts Maintain a safe and organized parts room Support other company locations with parts ordering, monitoring and inventory management as needed Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Special Skills, Education, Certifications Previous experience in a truck or automotive parts environment preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong computer skills required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., occasionally Require minimum 2 years relevant experience in similar environment Join us as a Parts Manager where your expertise fuels our success! Pay:
