Job Overview Materials Staff is part of the surgical team who collaborates with the Material Manager in the outpatient surgical facility to determine supply needs. Purchase supplies and materials with the supervision of the Material Manager according to specifications. As well as coordinate and supervise receiving and warehousing supplies. Duties

• Assists Material Manager maintain all medical supplies at appropriate inventory level.
• Receives and stores supplies in appropriate areas.
• Assists Material Manager research vendors to locate specialized equipment as requested by the medical staff and approved by the Administrator/ Material Manager.
• Completes associate's paperwork as assigned in a timely manner.
• Controls inventory levels and ensures availability of material during emergencies.
• Maintains inventory, stock supply areas, expiring items.
• Obtains the necessary equipment and instruments.
• Keeps shelves and storage bins clean, organized and stocked.
• Responsible for the receipt and distribution of supply, floor stock, office, and stock supplies.
• Returns/removes excess stock. Review all charts after the date of service for the completion Must have expierence on Material management either from a Hospital or Surgical Center.
• Follows regulatory requirements and accreditation guidelines, to support safety and security procedures.
• Monitors, tracks, returns, outdated supplies to ensure that no outdated supply is issued.
• Checks all incoming shipments for damage.
• Reports directly to Material Manager, inform of shortage, back-orders, re-calls and any supply issues affecting requests/needs.
• Checks and distributes all orders promptly and accurately, make sure that all necessary paperwork / invoices are reviewed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
