[$23-$35 per hour] based on experience and Envi inventory experience Position Summary The Materials Management Coordinator manages inventory, procurement, and supply logistics for the Cardiovascular Services department, including operating rooms, exam rooms, storage rooms, and imaging rooms. This role manages a high-value, high-turnover inventory , stents, balloons, catheters, atherectomy, or laser devices using the ENVI inventory management system. The coordinator ensures the right products are available for every scheduled and emergent case while controlling cost, minimizing waste, and maintaining par levels of equipment. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Envi System Management Maintain accurate par levels, item master data, and bin locations in ENVI for all cardiovascular supplies and implants. Perform daily cycle counts, monthly physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies in ENVI. Track lot numbers, serial numbers, and expiration dates for all equipment and supply; manage expiring product rotation, returns, and manufacturer exchanges. Generate ENVI reports on usage trends, stock-outs, turns, and consignment activity for department leadership. Procurement & Vendor Management Create and manage purchase orders and requisitions in ENVI and the

ERP/MMIS

system; expedite backorders and coordinate substitutions with clinical staff. Manage consignment and bill-only agreements with cardiovascular vendors (e.g., Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Edwards, Biotronik); reconcile vendor counts against Envi records. Coordinate product trials, new item requests, and conversions in partnership with Value Analysis and physician leadership. Verify invoices against PO and receiving records; resolve pricing and contract discrepancies with Supply Chain and vendors. Clinical Support & Case Readiness Review the daily procedure schedule and physician preference cards to ensure all required supplies are pulled and available. Manage recalls and field safety notices: identify affected products in Envi, quarantine stock, and document disposition. Maintain clean, organized, and compliant supply rooms in accordance with Joint Commission, FDA, and infection control standards. Financial Stewardship & Process Improvement Monitor department supply expenses against budget; identify savings opportunities through standardization, par optimization, and waste reduction. Participate in Lean/process improvement initiatives to reduce stock-outs, expired product, and manual workarounds. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred. Minimum 2 years of materials management or inventory control experience in a hospital setting. Hands-on experience with the ENVI inventory management system Working knowledge of cardiovascular supplies and consignment inventory practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting a cath lab, EP lab, or cardiovascular OR. Experience with EHR's CMRP (Certified Materials & Resource Professional) or AHRMM membership. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull supply carts, and stand or walk for extended periods. Work in a clinical procedural environment with exposure to hospital equipment and, occasionally, biohazard materials. Flexibility to adjust hours to support emergent case needs and inventory counts.
