Job Description

Position Overview:
This role will lead the day-to-day planning activities for all raw materials supporting global manufacturing operations across multiple plants. This role will also drive alignment to long term strategic roadmap for raw materials ensuring that supplier capacity is aligned to growth plans. Responsible for raw material forecasting and inventory management across the global supply chain network including both company-owned and contract manufacturing sites. Define and report on supplier production plans to ensure raw material supply meets Insulet's growth objectives. Responsible for key aspects of component planning including processes & scorecards/metrics through the extended supply chain leading daily management execution while driving continuous improvement. This role will be responsible for all communication of material requirements between internal and external customers and will coordinate with various functions as needed to ensure material availability. This position will also work on assigned Supply Chain initiatives as required.
Responsibilities:
Manage and resolve all component availability issues that may impact target inventory levels or production requirements within Insulet's global supply chain network - enabling clear-to-build, balancing supply / demand requirements Lead regular inventory strategy reviews with Global Planning and Plant Purchasing team members to ensure alignment on strategy execution and attainment Drive frequent communication with senior executives on status of global supply chain including strategy execution, risk assessment and new initiatives Develop and leverage all demand and supply analytic tools to execute on inventory targets and risk mitigation priorities across global supply chain network Manage complex phase-in strategies at the supplier level for all NPIs and phase-out strategies for product discontinuations Coordinate with Supplier Development and Direct Materials Procurement to prioritize all capacity, risk-reduction and cost-savings projects Coordinate with cross functional teams, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Development and Supplier Quality to improve supplier performance and reduce supply chain risk Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier reliability and maximize available supply with increased inventory turns. Manage close relationship with Finished Goods Planning Teams to ensure alignment on company-wide strategic inventory goals per SKU Manage Month and Quarter-End Inventory Reconciliation Processes to ensure alignment with Finance Operations Support the development of a high performing team that sets clear priorities and exceeds business objectives Perform other duties as assigned undefined
Education and Experience:
BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred, but not required 10+ years prior supply chain management experience Experience in managing/leading team of people, and ability to change dynamic work environment a plus Ability to work effectively with vendors, finance, marketing, R D, packaging, and manufacturing teams requirements Leadership, Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Skills/Competencies:
Ability to conceptualize and work towards an integrated supply chain Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders and represent enterprise interests Proven background in delivering supply assurance results In depth understanding of critical Supply Chain and MRP processes Supplier certification and performance metrics reporting Strength in Microsoft suite (Power BI, PowerPoint presentations for leadership, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (including but not limited to VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc) Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system. Prior experience with Power BI preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $136,900.00 - $205,300.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
