Receiving and Inventory Control Supervisor Reports To:
Vice President of Operations Job Summary:
The Receiving and Inventory Control Supervisor will ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with the organizations inventory cycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems. Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions, stock numbers, and prices. Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors. Communicates with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes in location, counts, etc. Collaborates with Sales, Purchasing, and Returns Departments to maximize efficiency in the Inventory Control Department. Sets authorization limits for purchasing and sales staff. Ensures inventory milestones and goals are met. Adheres to approved budget constraints. Oversees the end of the year physical inventory assessments. Develops and implements policies and procedures related to inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow. Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to navigate from department to department safely and in a timely manner Apply View All Jobs
