OpSource Direct is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Lead for a client in Spartanburg, SC.

Pay Rate:
$80k to $85k/yr.
DOE Role Purpose:
The Regional Supply Chain Lead is accountable for end-to-end supply chain performance of the Installed Base business within the assigned region, ensuring reliable order-to-cash (OTC) execution, compliant trade and origin management, effective intercompany supply, and high-quality outbound logistics. Beyond regional accountability, the role supports regional sales objectives and carries defined global outbound responsibilities for shipments arriving to and departing from the regional warehouses. Success requires strong cross-functional collaboration and consistent delivery against Installed Base and corporate strategic objectives. Local Particulars Primary working language(s): English.
Time zone:
multiple (PT-ET); define standard cut-offs and handover windows per site. Customs & export control: collaborate with U.S. customs/export control requirements and AES filings where applicable.
Primary export nodes:
port/air hubs per routing guide (e.g., LAX/LGB, NY/NJ, SAV, ORD). Account for federal/state holidays and winter weather risks on key lanes. Scope & Team Leadership Full responsibility for the regional Installed Base Supply Chain organization. Lead, manage, and develop three core teams: (1) Bid & Proposal (2) Order Processing, (3) Intercompany (IC),Purchasing and (4) Warehousing Establish objectives, cadence, and development plans; ensure clear roles, standard work, and succession. Key Responsibilities 1. Regional Order-to-Cash Ownership Own complete OTC execution including offering, order entry, order processing, billing/invoicing, shipping, and logistics execution. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across the full OTC flow; proactively manage backlog and exceptions. Provide leadership and escalation for complex customer and cross-functional issues; drive root-cause elimination. 2. Intercompany Supply & Allocation Management Own all intercompany sourcing flows, including creation and management of intercompany purchase and sales orders. Manage material and capacity allocation in coordination with sourcing plants; ensure transparent priorities and recovery plans. Maintain stable supply via disciplined parameter management (lead times, MOQ) and structured IC reviews. 3. Origin, Trade & Compliance Management Ensure correct and compliant origin-related master data (HS codes, Country of Origin, Dual-Use classifications). Ensure completeness and validity of supplier declarations and origin documentation; maintain auditable records. Act as regional owner for trade and origin compliance in collaboration with Trade, Tax, and Finance functions. 4. Regional Sales Support & Forecast Ownership Support regional sales targets by ensuring supply chain readiness and execution reliability. Own the regional sales forecast and align demand with supply chain capabilities (S&OP cadence). Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to support revenue and service objectives. 5. Outbound Logistics & Partner Management Oversee global outbound execution for all shipments departing the central warehouse for destinations. Regional outbound execution for all shipments departing the warehouse for the domestic customers. Monitor 3PL performance (e.g., DSV) and ensure on-time delivery and compliance across global destinations. Own outbound shipments; conduct regular performance reviews with ISS (inbound, outbound, pick & pack). Manage freight forwarders for the region, including service reviews, SLAs, and continuous improvement. 6. Governance, Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement Act as process owner for defined supply chain and order management processes; clarify cross-functional CORN and exception cases. Drive standardization, KPI discipline, and continuous improvement; improve data quality and system hygiene in ERP/CRM. Establish risk controls and business continuity practices for supply and logistics disruptions. 7. Key Interfaces Global Fulfilment - Installed Base Sales & Service Leadership Manufacturing & Intercompany Plants Finance, Tax, Trade & Compliance Logistics Partners and 3PLs 8. Indicative Success Measures Stable and compliant OTC execution for the region. Improved OTIF and reduced execution variability. Reliable intercompany supply and allocation performance with reduced escalations. Positive impact on regional sales targets through accurate forecasting and execution. Strong logistics partner performance (cost, lead time, compliance) and improved data quality. Reduction in backlog/aging, improved inventory health, and first-time-right documentation. 9.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time Salaried/Exempt position - Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 10.
Travel:
This position requires up to 10% travel. Frequently, travel is outside the local area and overnight. 11.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business management. Minimum five years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of textile machinery industry (parts, services, etc.) Target-oriented, results-oriented, and highly self-motivated by challenges. Leadership and team building skills.
