The Focus of our department is Material Control, Transportation Control and Delivery Assurance. We are the Gatekeepers of the supply chain for the ultimate driving machine. The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions: Support department in all Transportation Projects (Operational, Contract Management, Returnable Container Steering, Reporting Sea- and Air freight) Troubleshoot upstream process partner errors that impact department's performance Conducts data processing in SAP, SQL, Power BI, i.e. running weekly and daily reports (may include data mining, creating and maintaining visualization tools, etc.) Assist JIT/JIS and SCM Project Leads Facilitate weekly Transportation team meeting Ensure training documents and department website are up to date Smart Container Management, KPI Dashboards, Data Analytics and Visualization, Sustainability (Reduction of CO2 emissions, e.g. E-Trucks), Continuous Improvement Projects, Digitalization Projects, Value Stream Mapping, Part Defect Reduction, Digitalization of Shipments, Robotic Process Automation PowerBi Machine Learning Programming Languages (VBA, RPA/UIPath, Python, SQL, etc.) Other duties assigned by management
