Full-Time, Salaried (Exempt) Position Summary The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of the Company's supply chain operations, primarily procurement and logistics. This position ensures the timely and cost-effective flow of materials required to support manufacturing and project execution while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Supply Chain Manager works cross-functionally with Project Management, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Manufacturing to develop strategic sourcing initiatives, improve inventory performance, reduce costs, and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials across all Company locations. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Strategy Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and growth plans. Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Lead initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service levels. Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure supply chain performance. Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Oversee purchasing activities for raw materials, fabricated components, consumables, and subcontracted services. Develop sourcing strategies that minimize risk and maximize value. Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and supplier agreements. Identify and qualify new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Collaborate with Operations to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory planning. Logistics & Transportation Oversee domestic and international transportation activities. Ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations. Coordinate freight carriers and logistics providers to optimize cost and delivery performance. Monitor shipping performance and resolve transportation issues. International Trade Compliance Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian import/export regulations.

Maintain knowledge of:

Harmonized System (HS) Codes Country of Origin requirements Tariffs and trade regulations Anti-dumping and countervailing duties Commercial invoicing requirements Customs documentation Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders. Monitor regulatory changes affecting international trade. Planning & Operations Collaborate with Production and Project Management to ensure material availability. Review demand forecasts and production schedules. Develop procurement plans based on project timelines. Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation strategies. Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor procurement and logistics team Establish departmental goals and performance expectations. Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and employee development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field. Experience 5 + years of progressive supply chain experience. Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role. Experience supporting manufacturing, structural steel, construction, or industrial environments preferred. Experience with both U.S. and Canadian supply chains preferred. Preferred Experience Experience in a structural steel, manufacturing, construction, or industrial fabrication environment is highly desirable. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of project-driven procurement, long lead-time materials, commercial invoicing, HS codes, tariffs, U.S. and Canadian customs regulations, and international logistics.

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
