Warehouse & Logistics Manager / CDL Driver Blue Mountain Mechanical

We support plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical projects with a focus on safety, quality, accountability, and strong field execution. We are hiring a hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Manager / CDL Driver to support warehouse operations, deliveries, purchasing, DOT compliance, and jobsite logistics throughout northwestern Washington, including JBLM projects. The Role This is a multi-functional role for someone who can keep materials moving, maintain an organized warehouse, support field teams, and safely operate CDL-required vehicles when needed. The right candidate will understand plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC materials and be comfortable working across warehouse operations, delivery coordination, purchasing, safety support, and field logistics. Because our truck and trailer combinations can exceed 26,000 pounds, a valid Class A CDL is required . What You'll Do Manage warehouse operations: Receive, stock, organize, and issue materials, tools, fixtures, equipment, and supplies Maintain inventory: Track inventory records, monitor stock levels, and help prevent material shortages Support purchasing: Identify and order plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical parts from manufacturers, wholesalers, and approved vendors Verify orders: Match packing slips, purchase orders, quantities, sizes, and part numbers for accuracy Coordinate deliveries: Manage supplier pick-ups, urgent material runs, and jobsite deliveries, including JBLM and active construction sites Operate CDL vehicles: Safely drive company box trucks, flatbeds, and CDL
  • required truck/trailer combinations Load and secure materials: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, liftgates, straps, chains, and proper lifting techniques Support delivery staff: Schedule routes, stage materials, and help ensure accurate, on-time deliveries Manage DOT compliance: Support vehicle and trailer annual inspections, pre trip/post-trip inspections, maintenance schedules, and delivery documentation Assist with safety: Help manage safety training, safety supplies, warehouse compliance, and safe loading/unloading practices Support maintenance: Assist with equipment, vehicle, warehouse, and facility repairs and maintenance as needed Coordinate with the team: Work daily with project managers, field supervisors, technicians, vendors, and office staff What We're Looking For Valid Class A CDL required Clean driving record meeting company and insurance requirements Ability to pass JBLM / military base access requirements, including background checks for an AIE badge or contractor pass Valid identification meeting REAL ID standards, such as a Washington enhanced Driver's License or U.
S. Passport 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, delivery, inventory, or construction operations experience Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or construction materials Comfort using inventory systems, purchase order systems, digital catalogs, Excel, Outlook, and basic office software Strong organization, communication, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to lift and move 50-75 lbs regularly, and heavier items with proper equipment Preferred Qualifications Prior supervisory experience Purchasing, procurement, or vendor coordination experience Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain Current DOT medical certification Experience supporting plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or commercial construction projects Familiarity with JBLM delivery requirements or military base logistics Work Environment / Location This role is based out of Blue Mountain Mechanical's Olympia, Washington operation and includes warehouse work, supplier pick-ups, deliveries, loading/unloading, outdoor exposure, and local travel to jobsites throughout northwestern Washington. Early start times may be required to support field schedules.
