Job Summary Weimer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced, motivated Parts Manager to lead our parts department. This position is responsible for the overall performance of the department, including inventory management, profitability, customer service, employee development, and supporting our service and sales operations. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, customer-focused, and understands how to maintain the right inventory while controlling obsolescence and maximizing department performance. Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Parts Department. Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution. Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing aged and obsolete inventory. Monitor and improve department gross profit, pricing, and overall profitability. Ensure technicians receive the correct parts efficiently to support Service Department productivity. Manage special-order parts, returns, cores, warranty parts, and manufacturer return programs. Maintain accurate inventory counts and conduct regular inventory reviews. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturer representatives. Ensure proper parts pricing and consistent application of dealership pricing policies. Provide excellent service to retail, wholesale, and internal customers. Hire, train, coach, and manage Parts Department employees. Establish clear expectations and hold the department accountable to performance standards. Work closely with Service, Sales, and dealership leadership to improve overall store performance. Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experience. Qualifications Automotive dealership parts experience preferred. Previous Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations, inventory management, and dealership processes. CDK experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to analyze department performance and inventory reports. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively with technicians, advisors, vendors, and customers. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or other OEM dealership experience is a plus.
