Job Summary Weimer Chevrolet GMC is seeking a dependable and motivated Lube Technician to join our Service Department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles and wants to build a career in the automotive industry. Previous automotive experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes accurately and efficiently. Perform tire rotations and basic tire services. Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed. Complete multi-point vehicle inspections. Inspect tires, brakes, filters, fluids, and other basic maintenance items. Identify and communicate recommended maintenance or potential vehicle concerns to the Service Advisor. Follow GM and dealership service procedures. Properly operate lifts, hand tools, and shop equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality. Assist other technicians and Service Department team members as needed. Treat customer vehicles with care and respect. Qualifications Previous automotive or dealership experience is preferred but not required. Basic mechanical knowledge or an interest in automotive repair. Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Willingness to learn and develop automotive skills. Ability to safely lift and handle tires, parts, and equipment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
