JCG Transportation is seeking an experienced and dependable Driver Manager to help oversee our daily FedEx Ground linehaul operations. This position is responsible for supporting our CDL drivers, coordinating schedules, monitoring routes, and helping ensure all loads are completed safely and on time. Responsibilities Manage and communicate with CDL-A drivers throughout their assigned routes Coordinate daily dispatches, schedules, route coverage, and equipment assignments Monitor drivers' progress and address delays, breakdowns, call-ins, or other operational issues Review driver logs, hours of service, and ELD activity for accuracy and compliance Assist drivers with the Motive ELD system and FedEx dispatch applications Ensure drivers follow DOT, FedEx Ground, and company safety requirements Track attendance, safety violations, missed breaks, and other performance concerns Document driver incidents and assist with disciplinary actions when necessary Coordinate substitute or fill-in drivers when regular drivers are unavailable Maintain professional communication with drivers, terminal personnel, maintenance providers, and management Participate in safety meetings and help reinforce company policies Cover routes at times when we are short of drivers Qualifications Previous experience in transportation, trucking, dispatch, fleet management, or driver management strongly preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements Experience using ELD systems, preferably Motive Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable and available to address time-sensitive driver or route issues Experience with FedEx Ground linehaul operations is a plus CDL Class A with at least one year OTR experience Clean MVR, background and drug screen What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid vacation Stable, full-time employment Opportunity to grow with an established transportation company Schedule Full-time position.
