Overview Currently our client, a Japanese freight forwarding company launching its U.S. branch, is looking for an Air Export Manager. 【Position】Air Export Manager 【Location】South San Francisco, CA 【Compensation】$78,000 - $88,000 / year+ (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k) 【Schedule】Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM 【Hiring Style】Direct Hire / Full-time Responsibilities Manage and supervise day-to-day air export freight forwarding operations Coordinate air shipments, required documentation, and delivery schedules Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, carriers, and overseas offices Monitor shipment statuses and proactively resolve operational issues as they arise Support the setup of operational processes during the U.S. branch launch phase Assist with internal coordination and reporting as needed Qualifications Prior air export experience within the Freight Forwarding industry is required Excellent communication skills in English are required Basic PC skills (typing, document preparation, and general office software proficiency) are required Experience with branch launch phase setup or process creation is preferred
