Job Description
Company Overview Youngquist Brothers LLC is a leading contractor specializing in deep injection well systems, offering innovative, results-driven solutions for safely discharging high volumes of excess water. With a history of designing and building its own equipment, the company delivers precise drilling and comprehensive well system services across Florida and the Bakken Shale region. We're looking for a detail-oriented, computer-savvy individual to join our team as a Drilling Progress Monitor . This role sits in the office alongside others and is responsible for tracking hourly drilling progress across all active rigs, identifying inefficiencies, and keeping communication flowing between the office and the field. This is done by monitoring jobsite both on a computer and closed circuit tv monitors in our office. You'll be trained on our internal systems to pull real-time drilling data, digest it quickly, and turn it into clear updates for leadership. This is a great fit for someone who's comfortable navigating software/data systems and enjoys spotting patterns and problems in numbers. What You'll Do Monitor each drilling rig's hourly progress throughout the day via computer and CCTV Track key performance metrics, including Rate of Penetration (ROP) and Drilled Footage per Hour/Day Identify rigs or shifts that are falling behind efficiency targets Communicate directly with drilling superintendents to discuss drilling parameters and confirm targets are being met Report drilling progress and performance summaries to management team Flag trends or recurring issues that may need attention What We're Looking For Strong computer skills — comfortable learning and working within data/reporting systems Ability to quickly interpret data and communicate findings clearly Good communication skills, both in writing and over the phone with field personnel Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Attention to detail is a must Prior oil & gas, drilling, or oilfield experience is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person Comfortable in a fast-paced office environment looking for efficiency. Schedule Primarily office-based, standard business hours are 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to operational excellence! Pay:
