Position Summary:
The Transportation Manager is responsible for executing, directing, and coordinating all transportation-related activities, both in the office and in the field. This role ensures efficient operations, high-quality customer service, and effective team leadership to support the organization's logistics and transportation goals.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, and train transportation staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching. Manage disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all transportation personnel. Coordinate and dispatch staff, vehicles, and unit based on operational needs. Communicate with customers and vendors via phone and email to manage reservations, cancellations, pricing adjustments, and inquiries. Assist with driving routes as needed to support operations. Review and process billing and invoices. Process customer payments over the phone. Support the Operations Manager with marketing initiatives. Oversee the management of ships, hotels, and ports of call logistics. Maintain oversight of the entire fleet and transportation staff, providing regular updates to the Operations Manager. Perform basic HR and Payroll functions. Ensure compliance with safety, service, and operational standards. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Abilities:

The Short-Term Parking Lot Manager oversees the daily operations of a short-term parking facility, ensuring efficient traffic flow, customer satisfaction, safety, and compliance with company policies. This role involves supervising staff, managing payment systems, maintaining cleanliness and security, and resolving customer issues promptly.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the short-term parking lot. Monitor entry/exit points, payment kiosks, and traffic flow to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons with inquiries, payment issues, and parking guidance. Manage and train parking attendants, ensuring adherence to schedules and performance standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, lighting, signage, and safety measures are maintained. Handle incidents, disputes, or emergencies in a calm and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of occupancy, revenue, an maintenance needs. Collaborate with security personnel and local authorities when necessary. Prepare reports on lot usage, revenue, and operational issues for management review.Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred. Previous experience in parking management, facilities operations, or customer service. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Basic computer skills and familiarity with parking management systems.
