Job Description
Overview Join a dynamic team as an Operations Manager at a leading pumping solutions provider dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions. In this full-time, on-site role based in St. Augustine, FL, you will lead operational activities, oversee project execution, and drive strategic growth initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse teams, optimize processes, and contribute to the company's success through data-driven decision making and strategic management. Responsibilities What You'll Be Responsible For Lead our yard personnel and delivery drivers, including scheduling, accountability, development, and performance. Manage the daily delivery, pickup, and equipment-movement schedule across Northeast Florida and South Georgia. Improve utilization of our delivery trucks, lowboy, and transportation assets. Coordinate with Sales and Service to maintain a clear picture of what equipment is on rent, available, returning, being serviced, or needed next. Support our Sock Division by coordinating equipment, materials, transportation, and upcoming work. Maintain proper inventory levels for commonly needed parts, supplies, and operating materials. Communicate directly with contractors, project managers, and superintendents regarding schedules, equipment needs, and changing job conditions. Identify scheduling, transportation, and operational problems before they become customer problems. Help establish and maintain measurable standards for utilization, turnaround time, overtime, delivery performance, and operational efficiency. Skills At least 2 years of field-based operational experience in one or more of these industries. Experience managing drivers, yard personnel, field crews, dispatch, or equipment operations. Strong scheduling and logistics skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing track of details. Experience working directly with contractors and field personnel. A practical understanding of equipment, job sites, transportation, and field operations. A history of holding people accountable while building a team people want to work for. Strong follow-through and communication skills. Clean driving record. CDL is a plus, but not required. This role offers an engaging environment where your leadership can make a tangible impact. Pay:
