About The Pantry by Feeding Hawaiʻi Together The Pantry by Feeding Hawaiʻi Together is a nonprofit food pantry providing nutritious food to individuals and families across Oʻahu. Our small team works together to receive, organize, transport, and distribute food to the community. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and self-directed Warehouse Coordinator / Box Truck Driver to support our transportation, warehouse, and distribution operations. This position will safely operate our non-CDL box truck, complete scheduled food pickups, assist with loading and unloading, support warehouse operations, and help prepare for distributions. The position also interacts with donors and community partners and requires a professional, positive attitude.

8:00 AM-12:00
PM Wednesday:
8:00 AM-1:00
PM Thursday:
8:00 AM-12:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM-1:00 PM Additional hours are available based on operational needs, with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours per week . Key Responsibilities Driving & Transportation Safely operate The Pantry's non-CDL box truck for scheduled food and supply pickups. Independently manage pickups and ensure they are completed on time. Complete basic vehicle safety checks. Safely load and unload food and supplies. Communicate delays or issues to the Programs Manager. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Warehouse & Distribution Assist with receiving, unloading, organizing, rotating, labeling, and storing food and supplies. Maintain accurate food temperature records. Follow food safety and warehouse procedures. Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Assist with distribution setup and other operational needs. Communicate operational issues or supply needs to the Programs Manager. Donor & Partner Relations Represent The Pantry professionally when interacting with donors, vendors, and community partners. Communicate clearly and respectfully during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications Required:
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Previous experience driving a box truck, delivery truck, moving truck, or other large vehicle. No CDL required Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities on time. Professional communication skills. Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely move heavier loads using carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
Preferred:
Warehouse, logistics, delivery, food distribution, or nonprofit experience. Experience with food safety or temperature logs. Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment. Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. The employee must be able to safely lift and move food boxes and supplies. Work may take place in a warehouse, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
