Our continued growth is fueled by a team of dedicated professionals who share our values and passion for excellence. As we expand our footprint in the Southeast, we are currently seeking a Terminal Manager for our Ashland, KY location. Position Overview As Terminal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the daily operations of our Ashland terminal. You'll be responsible for ensuring the terminal runs efficiently, safely, and in full alignment with Eagle Transport Corporation's policies, procedures, and core values. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires strong operational insight, team management skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Oversee all terminal property and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Lead hiring, performance management, training, and development of terminal team members. Direct the company's safety program, including facilitation of monthly safety meetings. Maintain exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local loading facilities. Supervise the terminal's preventative maintenance program and manage the Equipment Management System (EMS). Evaluate terminal operations regularly and establish short- and long-term goals for continuous improvement. Communicate professionally with employees, customers, and company leadership, maintaining an open-door policy. Foster a respectful and inclusive work environment where employee feedback is welcomed and valued. Implement and communicate company policies, procedures, and directives effectively. Coordinate rate and route requests with the traffic department. Collaborate with the marketing department to address customer needs and inquiries. Ensure timely processing of repair orders and purchase requisitions. Monitor and manage drivers' service hours to prevent hours-of-service violations. Confirm accurate and timely completion of delivery tickets and payroll documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or terminal operations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
