With 8 branches and over 4,000 pieces of equipment, we support construction, environmental, and industrial projects across the region. Headquartered in Nicholasville, KY, we are a rapidly growing company that has added several new branches in recent years. We are seeking an Operations Manager for the Nicholasville area to help lead daily operations, support field teams, and drive efficiency across the branch. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will work directly with technicians, supervisors, and project teams both in the yard and in the field. What You'll Do:

Work directly with technicians, supervisors, and superintendents on ongoing and upcoming projects Coordinate rental equipment to maximize efficiency and utilization Assist with prepping equipment for rental and receiving equipment back into inventory Support job site operations including equipment setup and teardown when needed Step into various roles as needed to support daily operations when short-staffed Oversee deliveries, yard personnel, area sales representatives, and on-site setups Learn and utilize company rental software for contracts, billing, and operational support Assist the Branch Manager with administrative and operational tasks Analyze operational data to assess current and future equipment and financial needs Review costs and support budget planning efforts Evaluate branch performance and identify areas for improvement Build strong relationships and earn the respect of team members through leadership and accountability

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in management, rental services, environmental contracting, construction, or related fields Experience with equipment rental, environmental industries, or utility contracting preferred Knowledge of common rental practices Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn equipment, operations, and systems Strong work ethic and problem-solving mindset
