Overview Join our team as a Traffic Control Supervisor and take the lead in ensuring safe, efficient, and effective traffic management on roadway construction and maintenance projects. In this vital role, you will oversee traffic control operations, coordinate with construction crews, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to keep both workers and the public protected. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure projects that improve communities and support transportation networks. Duties and Qualifications Supervise and coordinate traffic control activities across multiple roadway construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and traffic management plans. signage, barriers, and flagging procedures to direct vehicle and pedestrian movement on construction sites. Ensure all traffic control measures comply with local safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines. Lead a team of traffic control personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to uphold safety and operational standards. Collaborate with construction managers, contractors, and utility locating teams to facilitate safe site access and minimize disruptions. Conduct regular safety inspections of traffic control setups and equipment to identify hazards or maintenance needs. Maintain detailed records of traffic management activities, incidents, and equipment usage for reporting purposes. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must have 2 years flagging experience NC basic work zone installer certification
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
