Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Coordinator to oversee non-emergency medical transportation services. The ideal candidate will coordinate and manage transportation schedules to ensure timely and safe transport for clients requiring non-emergency medical travel. This role involves planning, scheduling, and communicating with drivers and clients to facilitate smooth operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities Coordinate daily transportation schedules for non-emergency medical transport, ensuring efficient routing and timely pickups and drop-offs. Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and drivers to confirm appointments, address concerns, and provide updates. Manage transportation requests, prioritize urgent needs, and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate changing circumstances. Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including trip details, schedules, and client information. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all transportation activities. Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve overall service delivery. Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed to ensure reliable service. Requirements Prior experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, drivers, and healthcare providers. Ability to problem-solve quickly in dynamic situations to ensure timely service delivery. Knowledge of safety regulations related to non-emergency medical transportation is advantageous. Proficiency in using scheduling software or relevant technology tools. Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing compassionate customer service in a healthcare-related setting. Pay:
$25.78 - $31.05 per hour
