Updated 08/26/2026 Job Description Job Summary Summary We are searching for a dynamic and strategic‑thinking Section Manager, Network Planning (Route Planning)! This role develops Scoot's short, medium, and long term route network, in line with company strategy. The role's main responsibilities are to monitor route performance, make recommendations on capacity adjustments and flight timings to maximize financial return and aircraft utilization, track competitor movements, study and make recommendations on new route opportunities, and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth launch of new routes. ​Key responsibilities: (1) Strategic Route Development Identify and evaluate new route opportunities, and determine optimal frequency and aircraft deployment on existing routes; (2) Scheduling Support Optimise flight schedules to maxmimise flight connectivity across the network, and assist in pre-season schedule alignment; (3) Stakeholder Management Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to materilise network plans; (4) Incentive Negotiation and Tracking Aid with incentive negotiations and performance tracking to ensure full realisation of incentives; (5)
Decision Support & Reporting:
Provide timely management reporting and deep commercial analysis to guide strategic decision‑making Key requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative disciplines
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills, and keen commercial acumen
  • Strong people skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience in a planning/commercial role using Tableau, Power BI or other data visualisation tools is preferred
  • Experience in aviation planning will be advantageous but not mandatory
  • Proactive self-starter who is able to independently drive projects and new initiatives
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information
