We are looking for dependable drivers who take pride in delivering packages safely and treating customers well. Routes begin at the same pickup location at 12:00 p.m. and typically take about 10 hours. We will share the pickup address before routes begin. Responsibilities Operate a NextPoint provided cargo van safely and professionally. Pick up assigned packages at the same designated location at 12:00 p.m. on each route day. Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses on the assigned route. Use the required delivery app to navigate, complete deliveries, and communicate delivery status. Follow traffic laws and applicable delivery and vehicle safety requirements. Handle packages carefully and report vehicle issues, accidents, and delivery concerns promptly. Return the van, keys, and gas card when the route is complete. Requirements At least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. A motor vehicle record check is required. Comfortable driving a cargo van and making deliveries in different weather conditions. Dependable mobile phone with active service and data that can run the delivery app. Ability to handle packages up to 50 pounds. Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills. Compensation and equipment $150 per completed standard route. Any different route rate will be shared before you accept it. NextPoint provides the van and a gas card for route fuel. No personal delivery vehicle or van rental fee is required. Pickup is at 12:00 p.m. at the same location for each route. Routes typically take about 10 hours; available routes depend on delivery demand. Independent contractor notice This is an intended 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations to the extent required by law. The written driver agreement will cover payment timing, route completion, and use of the van and fuel card.
