Description:
The Route Service Manager oversees operations within an assigned territory, providing direct supervision to route service representatives. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service, maintaining a strong safety culture, and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence. satisfaction.

Lead with
Safety:
Promote a safety-first culture through training, briefings, and policy enforcement.
Team Leadership:
Manage Non-CDL Drivers, onboarding, performance management, and operational support.
Hands-On Support:
Step in as needed to maintain efficient route operations and ensure smooth service.
Enhance Service Quality:
Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and improve service.
Coaching & Performance:
Conduct ride-alongs, provide coaching, and remove operational barriers to ensure success.
Optimize Operations:
Ensure compliance with industry standards and improve route sequencing for efficiency.
Fleet Management:
Oversee truck maintenance and manage delivery/pick-up logistics.
Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, focusing on customer retention and customer growth through securing contract renewals and identifying upselling opportunities.
Accounts Receivable:
Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve any service-related issues.
Qualifications:
Experience in route operations management or a related field. Strong leadership skills with a customer-focused approach. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
