Job Description

•Seeking a detail oriented Safety & Compliance Administrator

•

Job Summary:

Manage & enforce DOT compliance with hours of service regulations, administer Independent Contractor compliance and perform functions as Idemia enrollment agent.

Job Duties:

Become expert user of GeoTab ELD and Platform. Train New Drivers Conduct Monthly reports to verify driver fleet has less than 5% HOS violations per month. Conduct Weekly reports to verify drivers are certifying their logs on a daily basis. Conduct Daily reports to verify proper use of personal conveyance miles and adverse driving conditions. Make sure all flagrant or excessive HOS violations are addressed with drivers using progressive disciplinary process. Challenge HOS violations on roadside inspections via DataQ system when appropriate. Process

HME, TSA, TWIC

enrollments and card activations. Greet and interact with customers, as well as Idemia personnel and representatives, in a professional and courteous manner. Submit copies of customer sign in sheets to Safety Manager at the end of each month. Set up new carriers for DSL Logistics in accordance with company requirements and monitor for valid insurance. Check accordion file for outstanding items that need to be addressed with driver. Direct driver to appropriate person with department when necessary. Conduct a monthly raffle for all drivers that have checked in. Monitor various safety supplies for low inventory levels and reorder when necessary. Assist other team members as needed.

Monday Through Friday 8 AM to 5

Hourly Requirements:

Must have intermediate computer skills to navigate Microsoft Office. Must possess clear and concise verbal communication skills. Must be knowledgeable of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) regarding hours of service. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
