Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscaping Maintenance Crew Leader, where you'll take charge of maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces through expert supervision and hands-on work. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a crew dedicated to delivering top-tier landscape and grounds maintenance services. As a key leader, you'll coordinate daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a positive team environment. Your expertise in lawn care, irrigation, and plant care will drive the success of our outdoor projects while providing exceptional service to clients.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a crew of landscaping technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring efficient workflow. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and groundskeeping to uphold high standards of appearance. Operate grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles safely and effectively across various outdoor settings. Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health; perform horticultural tasks such as fertilization and pest management. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and managing irrigation schedules to promote healthy landscapes. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
Experience:
Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles. Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance practices, and irrigation management. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Hands-on outdoor work experience with groundskeeping equipment operation and plant identification skills. Familiarity with horticulture principles, tree care techniques, gardening practices, and hardscape installation is preferred. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; CDL certification is a plus. Leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to motivate team members and coordinate project tasks efficiently.
