In this role, you will lead crew members through various landscape maintenance and hardscaping construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise in lawn care, plant identification, irrigation management, and groundskeeping will drive the success of our projects while fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscape crew members, assigning daily tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, mulching, and groundskeeping to maintain high standards of appearance and health Manage hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail Operate grounds maintenance equipment, landscaping tools, irrigation systems, and company vehicles safely and efficiently Identify plants accurately to ensure proper care, pruning, and replacement; manage irrigation systems for optimal water efficiency Coordinate with project managers to plan work schedules, monitor progress, and troubleshoot on-site issues promptly Uphold safety protocols at all times to create a secure working environment for team members and clients Experience Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, or groundskeeping with a strong knowledge of horticulture practices Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments Familiarity with hardscaping construction projects including hardscape installation techniques Knowledge of irrigation management systems and troubleshooting irrigation issues Skilled in operating landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, excavators, and other groundskeeping tools Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to manage teams effectively while maintaining high-quality standards Outdoor work experience that emphasizes safety awareness and environmental stewardship Join us if you're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes!
