Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance and horticulture with commercial properties. This role involves overseeing a crew of landscapers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Landscaping Crew Leader will be responsible for maintaining a daily schedule, driving and operating a truck and trailer, and overseeing the aesthetic appeal of various properties, while providing guidance and support to team members. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including lawn care, tree care, and irrigation installation. Ensure that all crew members are trained in proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and gardening for large commercial properties. Oversee the execution of construction projects related to landscaping, ensuring quality workmanship. Maintain equipment and tools in good working order, conducting regular inspections and repairs as needed. Communicate effectively with oversight to understand their landscaping needs and provide exceptional service. Monitor crew performance, providing feedback and support to enhance productivity and teamwork. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial landscape maintenance and landscaping practices. Previous supervisory experience is preferred; strong leadership skills are essential. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with gardening principles and horticulture is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients alike.
