Job Description:
Source One is a staffing services company and we're currently looking for the following individuals to work for our direct client, an autonomous vehicle company in Miami.
Title:
Vehicle Fleet Operator Pay Rate:
$29/hr (W-2) plus benefits Shift differentials for weekends as well as 2nd & 3rd shifts Initial training for 8 weeks (paid) Number of positions: 30
Available Shifts:
  • 1st: 6AM-2:30PM (priority #3)
  • 2nd: 2PM-10:30PM (priority #2)
  • 3rd: 10PM-6:30AM (priority #1) Play a key role in keeping an autonomous (self-driving) vehicle fleet operating safely, efficiently, and ready for passengers.
This is a hands-on role that combines vehicle operations, technical troubleshooting, logistics, and customer service. Your day will begin by preparing vehicles for service through detailed inspections, ensuring they're clean, fully charged, and operating correctly. You'll verify sensors and onboard systems, perform mechanical and software checks, and use internal tools to troubleshoot issues or update vehicle software so each Robotaxi is ready to hit the road. Throughout the day, you'll also respond to vehicles that need assistance in the field. This may include recovering or repositioning vehicles, remotely operating them when needed, assisting passengers during service disruptions, and coordinating with other teams to return vehicles to service as quickly and safely as possible. You'll interact directly with riders, provide a high level of customer support during recovery events, and serve as an ambassador for the company's autonomous technology. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that's ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working both indoors and outdoors, staying calm under pressure, and combining technical work with customer-facing responsibilities.
Target Profile:
  • 2-4+ years of experience in fleet operations, automotive, aviation, logistics, field service, hospitality, or other fast-paced operational environments is preferred
  • Valid Florida driver's license + 3 years of consecutive licensure with no gaps
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Mechanically inclined with basic technical troubleshooting skills and comfortable learning new software and tools
  • Experience working with vehicles, inspections, maintenance, or fleet operations is preferred
  • Adaptable and able to multitask between vehicle readiness, field response, and customer support
  • Able to work both indoors and outdoors throughout the day
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
