The Porsche Experience Centers (PEC) are a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. AMCI is contracted by Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) to deliver the core operations for each
PEC:
drive, logistics, events, marketing, retail store and customer experience. The role of the Fleet Operations Supervisor is to oversee operations for a fleet of approximately 130 vehicles in support of customer drive experiences at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta. This includes fueling, delivery, detailing and vehicle staging in support of daily Drive Experiences. This position directly leads a team of 8+ full time and part-time Car Wash team members, Detail Technicians and Porters (Vehicle Logistics) team members. This position acts as communication hub for fleet related exchanges with PCNA Teams, Drive Team, NVD departments, PEC Workshop and offsite repair centers to ensure fleet vehicle usage is maximized. This position also oversees the efficient transportation of vehicles for repair and transportation to and from marketing events and offsite displays. How You'll Contribute... Provide daily Leadership for a team of 8+ Logistics and Detail team members Implement process improvements to drive efficiency across Detail and Logistics Team Ensure team adheres to the Detail and Logistics process manual (update as needed) Development of best-in-class safety procedures as it relates to vehicle logistics, vehicle staging, fueling and vehicle detailing Primary Responsibilities… Ensure on-time vehicle preparation and presentation including fueling, washing and staging Set daily priorities for frontline Logistics and Detail team Daily Work plan and Coverage Logistics and Detail team Maintain Team readiness to complete NVD Car Detailing and minor paint correction for up to 8 New Vehicle Deliveries per week. Maintain recurring KPIs and safety reporting for the Workshop and Fleet Operation Manager Oversee Vehicle and key security Logistics Equipment and Detailing Chemical Inventory Fuel System monitoring and Fuel ordering Maintain and manage tire inventories on a daily basis. Maintain and manage fleet vehicle keys and present Keybox reports on a recurring basis to secure and protect vehicle assets. Maintain vehicle displays in front of and inside the building, cleanliness, battery tenders and wheel indexing Ensure the highest-level of vehicle cleanliness both interior and exterior of both daily Drive Experience fleet and display cars Constant communication with Workshop and Fleet Operations Manager to ensure seamless operation Vehicle Logistics Event support during and outside of normal business hours Additional Responsibilities… Control vehicle movement in and out of interior display areas with highest attention to customer and museum cars - creative displays and exact alignments Responsible for installation, maintenance and removal of vehicle decals and PECATL license plates Team Development… Engage and develop Logistics and Detail Team members. Execute Training plans for each team member Continually refine processes & procedures for vehicle movement throughout the property Hold the Logistics team to the highest level of safety and incident-free operation Compliance… Ensure that all compliance and liability relevant logs and documentation is followed at all times, including: Comply with Workplace safety/OSHA/ISO 14001 standards as required Tire inventory log Fuel inventory Carwash Equipment and Detail Chemical inventory Off-premise log / vehicle transport documentation Mileage log Vehicle check-in and check-out forms Collaborate with Workshop on items such as: Routine Maintenance Tire replacement Brake pad and Brake rotor disposal Wheel Exchanges / repair Fuel system safety training Vehicle detailing and cleanliness training. What We're Looking For... High school diploma required 3+ years vehicle service experience required 3+ years motorsports or customer driving event experience Fleet vehicle experience a plus Leadership Experience Background and experience with vehicle movement, dealership or rental car industry Proficient computer skills in all Microsoft office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint Ability to Lead and oversee several activities at once Ability to consistently deliver results with and lead a team of 8+ team members Ability to delegate and accept responsibility Proficient working in a multi-cultural environment Detail Oriented Quick to pivot when necessary Safety-mindfulness, 360-degree view Adaptability/Flexibility Problem solving High-level Communication skillset Acute awareness mindset Customer Focused Other Considerations...
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Minimum 21 years of age
