Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Leader, Mowing, to oversee and execute lawn care and landscape maintenance projects with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for maintaining high standards of groundskeeping, landscaping, and outdoor aesthetics across various properties. Your leadership will ensure that all mowing, planting, irrigation, and hardscape tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to client specifications. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance workers on mowing, landscaping, planting, irrigation management, and hardscape projects. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Conduct plant identification to ensure proper care and placement of flora within landscape designs. Oversee the operation of company vehicles for transportation to various construction projects and job sites. Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations. Perform routine maintenance on groundskeeping equipment to maintain optimal performance. Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios or walkways when required. Support team members through training in horticulture practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and equipment operation. Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Prior supervising or crew management experience in outdoor environments or landscaping projects is Desirable Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape tools. Construction experience related to projects is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles and trailers safely in outdoor settings. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; experience with tree care or grounds maintenance is a plus.
