Kingsley Improvements is Hiring - Paver & Retaining Wall Crew Leader Kingsley Improvements is looking for an experienced Paver & Retaining Wall Crew Leader to run our hardscape installation team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can take ownership of projects, lead the crew in the field, operate equipment safely, and bring jobs from layout through completion.

South Shore, Massachusetts Responsibilities Lead paver patio and retaining wall installation projects Direct and work alongside the installation crew Lay out projects and establish proper grades Perform excavation, grading, base preparation, compaction, and installation Operate skid steers and excavators Load, transport, and operate equipment safely Drive company trucks and trailers Read job plans, layouts, measurements, and grades Coordinate jobsite setup and materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Work with other Kingsley Improvements crews as needed Assist with fence installations and other Kingsley Improvements projects when hardscape work is not scheduled Requirements Strong previous paver and retaining wall installation experience is required Must be capable of leading and independently running hardscape installation projects Massachusetts 2A/1C Hoisting License required Must be experienced operating a skid steer and excavator Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles Must be experienced and comfortable driving trucks with trailers Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check Must be dependable, hardworking, and capable of leading a crew Must be willing to perform other construction work when needed We are not looking for someone who has simply assisted on paver or retaining wall projects . We are looking for an experienced installer who understands proper excavation, grading, base preparation, compaction, drainage, layout, and installation and is capable of taking the lead in the field. This is a working crew leader position. You will be expected to work alongside the crew while also keeping the project organized, productive, and moving forward. Compensation is $35-$40+ per hour based on experience, licensing, leadership ability, equipment experience, and ability to independently run projects. Higher compensation may be available for an exceptional candidate with extensive hardscape and crew leadership experience. Immediate opening.
