In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers by helping them optimize the performance, utilization, and total cost of ownership of their material handling equipment fleets. Forklift Dealer What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
Manage customer forklift fleets, including fleet utilization, maintenance performance, and cost management. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing proactive fleet management support and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and support new business development efforts. Conduct business with sincerity, honesty, and a customer-first mindset. Develop and implement sales strategies and fleet management programs. Utilize company and vendor technology platforms to monitor fleet performance and support customer reporting. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the fleet management program. Manage internal and external invoice workflows and ensure timely processing. Coordinate repair quotes, maintenance approvals, and service-related communications for fleet customers. Track and manage repair purchase orders and fleet-related expenditures. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What You'll Need to
Succeed :
Bachelor's degree in business or mechanical field, or a related field preferred, but not required. Minimum of two years of experience in fleet management, account management, or a related field. Strong understanding of cost analysis, budgeting, and asset lifecycle management. Excellent customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience within the material handling, equipment rental, transportation, or heavy equipment industry is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This position is primarily performed in an office setting and involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional physical activities may be required, including, but is not limited to, standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting (typically up to 50 lbs.), as needed.
