Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Crew Leader, Landscape to lead and inspire our outdoor maintenance teams. In this role, you will oversee landscape and grounds maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality results while fostering a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence in all landscaping tasks, from lawn care to hardscaping construction. Duties Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, mulching, and groundskeeping Manage hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features Coordinate irrigation system installation, repairs, and ongoing management to ensure optimal watering practices Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools Identify plants accurately to ensure proper care and maintenance; provide guidance on horticultural best practices Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular equipment inspections Experience Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles with demonstrated team management skills Extensive outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of lawn care, gardening, and horticulture principles Hands-on experience with landscaping construction projects and hardscaping installation techniques Knowledge of irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting; ability to manage irrigation schedules effectively Familiarity with grounds maintenance equipment operation including power tools and company vehicles Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Construction experience is a plus; familiarity with safety standards related to outdoor construction sites is preferred Join us as a Crew Leader in Landscape and take pride in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant environments!
