We are a local, commercial landscaping company looking for someone who needs a lot of room to grow! A Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of landscape workers and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role involves delegating tasks, managing schedules, and maintaining clear communication between the crew, clients, and management. Crew Leads also ensure proper equipment maintenance and safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and Supervising:

Directing and guiding a landscaping crew in daily operations, including task delegation and performance oversight.

Project Execution:

Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

Training and Development:

Providing guidance and training to crew members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

Equipment Management:

Ensuring proper maintenance and safe operation of landscaping equipment and tools.

Communication:

Maintaining open and effective communication with clients, team members, and management.

Quality Control:

Monitoring work quality and adherence to standards, and making adjustments as needed.

Safety Compliance:

Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for the crew.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Skills and Qualifications:

Leadership and Supervision:

Ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and equipment operation.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
