Olson Landscape Company is a leading provider of professional landscape and excavation services. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team. This position requires strong leadership skills, experience with landscaping equipment, and an ability to manage a team while delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Job Description:
As the Landscape Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of landscape duties. You will lead a small crew in the efficient and effective completion of tasks, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and work with a small crew, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Landscape Crew Lead tasks include:
Assist with installing plants, trees, mulch, sod, landscape lighting, seeding, and irrigation Operate and maintain basic landscaping tools and equipment Ability to direct a crew and work efficiently to complete projects on schedule Perform site preparation, grading, and cleanup Load and unload materials, ensuring job sites are stocked and organized Work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks Operate landscaping equipment, including skid steer with rock hound, mini excavator., and stand-on skid steer with multiple attachments. Safely drive trucks and trailers to job sites, ensuring proper loading and unloading of equipment. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized work site. Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure customer satisfaction and project specifications are met. Provide training and mentorship to crew members. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in landscaping and crew leadership is preferred. Proficient in operating, skid steer with rock hound, mini excavator, stand-on skid steer with multiple attachments. and other landscaping equipment. Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a truck and trailer. Strong knowledge of landscape techniques (seeding new lawns, installing sod, planting, etc.). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
