In this role, you will lead and supervise a crew responsible for delivering exceptional landscape and grounds maintenance services. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key team leader, you will coordinate daily operations, manage equipment, and foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew engaged in landscape maintenance, lawn care, landscaping related tasks and projects , and groundskeeping activities Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and landscaping tools Oversee plant identification, pruning, planting, and tree care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Enforce safety protocols across all outdoor work activities and ensure crew compliance with safety standards Support team development through training on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and horticulture best practices Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, landscape related tasks, or groundskeeping roles. A minimum of 3 years experience. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in outdoor settings Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, tree care, and irrigation management Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently; experience with grounds maintenance tools is essential Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles with trailers required Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively as well as customer service skills and dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions; physically capable of performing manual labor for extended periods Knowledge of landscaping safety standards and equipment maintenance procedures Join us if you're eager to lead a passionate team dedicated to creating stunning landscapes while advancing your leadership skills!
